Pastor Tom is newly appointed to Trinity UMC. He comes to us in his fifteenth year of ministry. He was born in Michigan and raised in Colorado with significant time spent in Alberta, Canada. He attended the University of Colorado where he graduated with a degree in psychology. Later he went to the University of North Alabama and earned a Master of Education degree in School and Community Counseling. He attended seminary at Vanderbilt Divinity School earning a Master of Divinity. Tom moved to Tennessee about twenty years ago and married Diana. Tom and Diana have a son named Christopher who is fourteen. Pastor Tom spent fourteen years teaching social studies emphasizing psychology. Tom enjoys working on old cars and currently has a 1967 Datsun Roadster he is fixing up.
A native of Tennessee, Kristen Donahue serves as the Administrative Assistant and Treasurer at Trinity UMC. She has a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics and an A.S. in Accounting. She is married to Mike Donahue and enjoys spending time with her family.
Sheryl Mabry serves as
the Director of Youth & Family Ministries. She came to Murfreesboro to
attend Middle Tennessee State University and fell in love with the city. She
worked for 12 years in ministry with college students after graduation and now
enjoys working with a broader age range here at Trinity UMC. She has two
children, Brandon who attends Blackman Middle and Kelsey who attends Discovery
John Salaway has been a contemporary worship leader for almost twenty years and has helped create TUMC's uplifting "Come and See" service which takes place on the first Saturday of each month at 5:30 pm. John is a recording artist, published songwriter, and nationally endorsed multi instrumentalist who was recently voted "Nashville's indie pop artist of the year."
Christa Roth is our Trinity Nursery and Preschool Director. Christa has enjoyed more than 15 years educating children and holds a MAT in Education from the University of Louisville. Christa and her family moved to Murfreesboro from Louisville a few years ago and have loved exploring all that Tennessee has to offer. Along with her husband, Denis, and two children, Lizzy a college sophomore and Ben a high school junior, they have created a new home here in Murfreesboro. They feel blessed to be part of the Trinity community.
